This gallon container of Clear Filteray D Topcoat improves the lightfastness of DayGlo 215 Alkyd fluorescent colors. Ordinary varnishes and overcoats lack the protective action of Filteray Type D overcoat and can do more harm than good when used over DayGlo fluorescent colors. The final surface produced by the Filteray D overcoat is harder and has a higher gloss than DayGlo 215 Alkyd enamel paint alone. This makes it more resistant to wear and easier to clean
